THE FOLLOWING DOGS ARE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE CALL THE SHELTER (WITH THE DOG'S NAME AND KENNEL NUMBER) AT 585-343-6410 OR STOP BY THE SHELTER DURING ADOPTION HOURS. THERE IS A $30 FEE FOR ALL ANIMALS. IF THE ANIMAL IS NOT SPAYED OR NEUTERED, THERE IS A $35 DEPOSIT. ALL DOGS MUST BE LICENSED BEFORE LEAVING THE SHELTER. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PUBLIC OFFICES THAT LICENSE DOGS ARE NOT OPEN ON THE WEEKENDS. PLEASE BRING A COLLAR AND LEASH WHEN YOU ARE READY TO TAKE YOUR NEW DOG OR PUPPY HOME.

Please note that ages are approximate if the animal is a stray. If you are a resident of Genesee County and wish to surrender an animal, please call the shelter first to ensure that a kennel is available.

1 year old Shepherd Mix

Fawn is a sweet and loving girl. She is very energetic and will need lots of playtime. She needs leash work. Fawn is good with other dogs not with cats.



	"IRENE" Kennel #20 Female, Spayed (has a tatoo) 2 year old Lab Mix Irene is a stray so we don't know much about her. We do know that she is a very friendly dog. She is high energy and needs some leash work.



			"HUNTER" Kennel #34 Male, Neutered 2 year old Beagle Hunter is an easy going guy who loves to sniff and check out everything. We snapped this photo of him admiring the beautiful tulips blooming around the Shelter! He is good with children and is housebroken. Come in and meet this lovable beagle.



	"VENICE" Kennel #36 Female, Spayed (has a scar) 2 year old Lab Mix Venice is a high energy girl who needs lots of exercise and someone to set down some rules. She needs leash work and can climb fences. She is housebroken, good with other dogs and is crate trained. She also is microchipped.



	Oddie, Bubba and Amber are turn ins. Oddie is the black and red doxie, Bubba the black doxie, and Amber the minpin. They are all 10+ years old, all spayed/neutered and up to date with vaccines. They will be checked out by a vet this week for any medical problems. They are all very sweet, good natured dogs. They will need a special home to care for these over the hill pups who aren't ready for the old folks home just yet!



	"JEN" Kennel #16 Female, Spayed (has a scar) 3 year old Lab/Shepherd Mix Jen is a stray from Batavia. She is a good tempered girl. She is good on a leash and knows some commands.



			"GOMER" Kennel #18 Male, Neutered 1-2 year old Lab/Pit Bull Mix Gomer is a big goof ball. He really needs someone to take the time with him for both training and exercising. He is friendly and sweet but just has lots of energy with nowhere for it to go.


	"MAGGIE MAE" Kennel #37 Female, Spayed 8 year old Chow Chow/Collie Mix Maggie Mae is a very nice, well mannered dog. She is housebroken, good with children and other dogs. She is good a leash and knows some commands.

BO is a 1 year old neutered male Lab mix. He is housebroken, good with cats, other dogs and children. He is trained to invisible fence. He is a high energy dog who will need lots of regular exercise. He LOVES to play fetch and will play until your arm is ready to fall off.

			Munchkin is a 1 year old neutered male chihuahua mix. He has little short legs, weighs less than 20 lbs. and is absolutely adorable. We would love to find him a loving home.
	4 month old spayed female lab mix


	BeBe is a 1 year old spayed female rat terrier. She has a sweet temperament and is looking for a safe home and loving family.


	These three dogs will be coming in Friday evening (5/8) and will be visiting the Shelter during adoption hours Saturday and Sunday.
